Around 30 degrees, end of June, 5 p.m. – Just in time for the great weather, this year’s summer party at our Düsseldorf site awaited our colleagues. A week later, our employees in Portugal also met for the summer event to tackle an exciting teamwork challenge and embark on a boat trip together.
COCUS Summer Parties in Düsseldorf & Porto
Over 100 COCUS employees, accompanied by partners, children and dogs, gathered at the location not far from our office in Düsseldorf. Many non-resident colleagues travelled to our office in Prinzenpark from various parts of Germany and other countries throughout the day.
Just like last year, the summer party in Germany took place at MagazinDREI in AREAL BÖHLER. It was great to be able to welcome many colleagues on site again, as well as new employees!
In Portugal, the summer party was a great opportunity to get together at our new office in Gaia. After the inauguration ceremony and a tour of our new office, our colleagues headed off to the next agenda points, which had been kept secret until then!
Our Summer Party Activities – Insights & Impressions
The first surprise was an exciting team challenge – an escape room! After successfully completing the quest, the journey continued by bus to the start point of a boat trip.
Our colleagues were able to explore the beautiful city of Porto and the Douro River in a festive atmosphere with a DJ and music. The event ended at an Italian restaurant with a stunning view right in front of the river.
The summer party in Düsseldorf offered the opportunity to see many colleagues again and to exchange the latest ideas and experiences in cross-team discussions. Of course, there was also plenty of fun and games for the children and a large selection of drinks and food with something for everyone. In keeping with the sunny weather, the frozen yoghurt ice cream from Yomaro was particularly high in demand!
All in all, it was a great time filled with lots of lively discussions and fun activities. We thank all for being there and look forward to seeing everyone next time again!
